Martinez was adamant that Bayern Munich could beat FC Barcelona in the clash between the two teams in the semifinals of the Champions League. Martinez added that the Bavarians have `the best coach in the world` in the face of Pep Guardiola.
The first leg of the play-off semi-final football in the Champions League final between Barcelona and Bayern Munich is in Spain on Wednesday. The Spaniard admitted that Barcelona is perhaps stronger in the time from Real Madrid last season.
The German champions will be without Arjen Robben, but Martinez believes his current squad can overcome his former team.
`The series of injuries was amazing. Follow us throughout the year, there are too many of them. In the semi-final against Porto but we have shown that despite injuries we can have a great team.`, added Javi Martinez.
