Mertens is with a second title for the year

The Belgian Elise Mertens won the title of the tennis tournament in the Swiss city of Lugano with a prize pool of 250, 000 dollars. Mertens defeated Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus), 19, 7:5, 6:2, in 84 minutes.

For the 22-year-old Belgian, which is the 20th in the world rankings, this is the third career title and second for the year after the Hobart (Australia) trophy in January.

Mertens played an excellent match by sport predictions in which he recorded four breakthroughs and allowed only seven unprovoked mistakes. Sabalenka scored 24 winning strokes, but made 35 mistakes.
