An Express Roger Federer in Dubai

The six-time champion of the tournament in Dubai in category "ATP 500" Roger Federer started with a quick win his participation this year.

Federer, who is second in the scheme, has won just for 56 minutes over Mikhail Youzhny from Russia with 6: 3, 6: 1. Roger has registered eight direct points from an initial hit and already has 8985 aces in his career. He is close to become the fourth player after Goran Ivanisevic, Ivo Karlovic and Andy Roddick saved over 9000 aces since they have been started counting in 1991.

Federer beat Jojni also in the 16th meeting between them. The easy success was as a salve for the wound of record for Grand Slam titles, inflicted by Andreas Seppi with his victory in the third round of the Australian Open.

"The first set was equal. I think everyone was trying to find his comfort zone. I`m happy that I did not play too cautiously, until I find my rhythm, because the weather here is changing rapidly and it is difficult to play. Then my re-turs became better and my serve has become more stable. I was able to win the part and then I drilled, "said 33-year-old father of four children.

Roger Federer is expecting in the second round a Spaniard. This will be the winner of the match between Fernando Verdasco and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. Federer has won the tournament in Dubai in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2012 and 2014. And he has lost in the finals in 2006 and 2011.
