Kerber will return to the top with a new coach

Former World number 1, Angelic Kerber will work with a new coach next year. This is Vim Fisset, a former mentor of Victoria Hazardenka and Simona Halep. The 29-year-old German trained under the leadership of Torben Belt this season.

`I`m starting a new stage in my career with a new coach, and I thank Thorben Belz for everything he did for me, ` wrote Kerber in his Twitter account.






`The next season is coming soon and I`m excited to start training with Wim Fisset as my coach, a new chance, and I`m curious to see what we can do together, ` she said.

In 2016, Kerber won the Australian and US Open titles and reached the Wimbledon final, then climbed to the top of the world rankings. But then she failed to keep her sporting shape and is now 21 in the world after winning only 28 of 51 matches from contacts with soccer win< /a> this season.






Belgian coach Jim Fisset, 37, worked with tennis players like Kim Clijsters, Victoria Hazardenka, Simona Halep, Johanna Conta and others.
