Lorenzo Insigne has reached an agreement for a new contract with Napoli, which will be announced in the coming days. The negotiations between the two sides were tense, but in the end, the deal is achieved.
According to the `Gazzetta dello Sport`, Insigne will bind with his home club until the year 2022 and will receive 5 million euros per season. Image rights, which were the `Apple of discord` would still remain for Napoli.
The newspaper claimed that the President of the club Aurelio De Laurentiis will convene a press conference on Saturday. According to other sources, however, the news could be announced on Monday.
