Portugal vs Wales

Portugal and Wales will go against each other in the first semifinal match of Euro 2016. The match will be played on July 6 - check out our soccer prediction.
Nowadays, the difference in class between the two teams is much smaller compared to the one years ago. No one expected Wales to go this far, and no one expected Portugal`s semifinal without a single victory. Even Portugal finished the third in its group but qualifies due to the rule four of the third teams to advance to the knockout stages. Portugal even looked pretty helpless in the first minutes against Poland, but eventually managed to catch up with forces on the ground and another draw qualified the team to the semifinal. They may not have recorded a single win in regular time, but there`s no way to deny them the psychic force available, and which are now among the top four teams in the tournament.
Only the midfielder Carvalho will be out of the team of Fernando Santos. He has accumulated enough yellow cards and will miss the semi-final. His position will in all likelihood be taken by Pereira. The defender Rafael Guireiro and the midfielder Andre Gomes still have mild complaints, but for them, it will be decided just before the meeting.
We`re not used to seeing the name of Wells in the finals of major competitions, but this presentation of `dragons` recorded a new chapter in its modern history. Even with the debut of the European Championship, the team has all the chances even for the title. Wales is far more deserving of this semi-final. The team won the first place in its group, having realized two wins and one loss against England, then achieved two wins in the playoffs. After the groups first they beat their big rival - Northern Ireland with 2:0 in the quarterfinals and triumphed with 3:1 over Belgium. In the victory over Belgium to celebrate, the team caught up in the result, since the first Belgium took the lead.
Before the start of the semi-final, in the team of Wales, there are significantly more problems to solve. The coach Chris Coleman will not be able to rely on two major players in the defense. These are the central defender Ben Davis, as well as the midfielder Aaron Ramsey. Both have yellow cards and missed the semi-final, but if you manage to eliminate Portugal will be on the line for the final.
Chris Coleman will hardly cheat on his style, even against a team like Portugal. The power of Wales is both in defense and in the fast counterattacks which the players of Coleman managed to organise very well. `Dragons` have strong football players for static positions so that Portugal would have a pretty hard.
In the upcoming semifinal, the first goal will be very important. Portugal is a dangerous rival, although tentatively to be presented, but the stake is too high. In the event that Wales does not take a defensive style of play at the start of the meeting, we can expect nice football, because the Portuguese players will surely begin to attack from the first second of the match.
Our soccer forecast by football picks is under 2.5 goals.
