Djokovic reached the semifinals of US Open

The leader in the scheme of US Open Novak Djokovic lost a set, but is on the semi-finals in New York. Nole beat the No18 placed Feliciano Lopez from Spain with 6:1, 3:6, 6:3, 7:6 (2).

Djokovic started convincingly and won the first set for 25 minutes. In the second, however, the Spanish left-hander took advantage of the problems of the 28-year old Serb, and made his only break of the match, with which he leveled the sets.

Djokovic came to his rhythm and managed to take the third part. In the final set, Lopez played aggressively and had chances for break, but Novak resisted. He came to a tiebreak, in which the world number one was immaculate. He led with 6:1 points and scored his second match analyzed by bestfootballpredictions point.

Nole finished with 36 winners (9 aces) and 17 unforced errors. Feliciano has achieved 26 winners (14 aces), but also 48 errors, 6 of which were double.

At the semi-finals, Djokovic will play with the last year`s champion Marin Cilic. Until now, the Serb has won 13 matches against the Croat.
