Lopez frustrated a clash Federer - Nadal

The expected a great clash between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at the quarterfinals in Cincinnati will not consists. The reason for this is the Spanish left-handed Feliciano Lopez.

The veteran beat his compatriot and friend Nadal at the second round after a twist with 5:7, 6:4, 7:6 (3) in a match mentioned by american football picks that has ended after midnight local time because of the delay due to a rain.

"I was playing during the whole match mentioned by american football picks with the right intensity, I have done the right things, I tried to be more aggressive and more likely to go out to the net. But it was not enough because today I played against a rival who played fantastic," admitted the eighth placed Rafa after the loss.

The next opponent of Lopez is the champion Roger Federer in Cincinnati.

The winner of six titles 34 years old Swiss had no problems against Kevin Anderson and beat him with 6:1, 6:1 for just 55 minutes.
