Gijon is back to the Primera

The team of Sporting Gijon secured a place in the Primera Liga next season. The team won with a classic 3:0 the match against Betis, which was from the last 42nd round of the Segunda Division.
So Gijon won the 2nd place in the table, which is a direct input for the elite, with 82 points accumulated. The third one in the standings has the same amount of points, Girona but it has weaker indicators. Girona ended in a 1:1 draw against Lugo in the derby from the same round.
The goal masters of SportingHihon were Guerrero, Jonathan and Lopez, who scored respectively in the 24th, the 60th and 68th minute.
So, except Betis, Sporting Gijon is the second secure participant in the Spanish elite during the new campaign.
At the same time, the teams of Girona, Las Palmas, Valladolid and Zaragoza will continue the battle to win promotion for the rest one more place in the Primera.
