Sharapova won the clash with Azarenka

The expected with great interest match between the former guide- women in the world rankings Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka was won by the Russian.
Two other players, reaching No1, - Caroline Wozniacki and Ana Ivanovic dropped.
